The Rising Strong™ curriculum is all about story – the stories we tell ourselves when we fall, and the ways we act out those stories in our relationships. It’s also about writing a more accurate ending that keeps us aligned with our authenticity. Using the idea of story to explore grief: forgiveness, anxiety, criticism, and trust allows us to dig in and access hard material in a safe format. The Rising Strong™ process teaches us to foster curiosity about our emotions when we’re hurt, and how to challenge our stories so we can rumble with the underlying hurts.
Rising Strong™ 3-Day Retreat October 18th - 20th
Friday, October 18th: 6:00- 8:00 pm
Saturday, October 19th: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday, October 20th: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The retreat will offer facilitated retreat time as a group (11 hours), Rising Strong™ Workbook, I’m Fine, a real feelings journal and other retreat materials. We will provide light snacks, water, and coffee throughout our time together. Please feel free to bring along any favorite snacks. We will have a scheduled break for lunch on Saturday in order for attendees to go out for lunch. This is not an overnight retreat, instead, we will meet during the day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This was an intentional decision to allow you to spend the night in the setting that best suits your needs. Those of you who are local may desire to stay at home, others local or not, may choose to stay in a hotel or AirBNB to provide a more retreat experience away from a typical day-to-day environment.
